Divorce and separation counseling in Texas
Whether you're deciding, in the middle of it, or trying to rebuild after, you don't have to sort it out alone.
Maybe you're weighing whether to leave. Maybe your spouse made the decision and you're still catching up to it. Maybe the divorce was final a year ago and you still can't stop replaying it. Each of those is a different kind of hard, and each is something we can work on.
What we might work on
- Getting clear on whether to stay or go, without anyone pushing you either way
- Handling the anger, grief, and guilt that show up, sometimes all in one day
- Getting through the practical middle: telling family, living arrangements, the legal process
- Co-parenting with someone you can barely talk to, and keeping the kids out of the middle
- Figuring out who you are on your own, and sleeping through the night again
I see people individually, so you can say what you actually think. If your spouse is also looking for support, they're welcome to see their own counselor.
How sessions work
Sessions are one on one, 45 minutes, by secure video. You can join from anywhere in Texas where you can talk freely. Sessions start at $80 on a sliding scale, based on what you can afford, and I accept most major insurance plans and EAP benefits. See fees and insurance.
Other things I help with
Just call me
It's 15 minutes, it's free, and there's no sales pitch. Tell me what's going on, ask whatever you want, and see whether I seem like someone you could actually talk to. You don't need to have it figured out first.
